The anticipated outcome of the program is a portfolio of new ideas, interventions, programs, policies, or services addressing root causes of disproportionate outcomes in the overlapping space between racial wealth equity and climate impacts. Some examples include: developing or retrofitting affordable housing, advancing skills training support in historically redlined neighborhoods, or connecting black households and communities of color with benefit programs that reduce housing, energy, and transit costs. In many ways the program is a wraparound service for municipalities already engaged in or committed to increasing equity and advancing climate preparedness..
